PPC Highlights Seismic Performance and Isostatic Technology at IEEE PES T&D 2026
PPC Insulators will showcase its advanced transmission and substation insulation technologies at the IEEE PES Transmission & Distribution Conference and Exposition, taking place in Chicago from May 4–7, 2026.
Visitors to Booth 141 will have the opportunity to explore PPC’s porcelain insulator solutions and learn how the company is supporting utilities and grid operators with robust, high-performance porcelain insulators designed to meet the reliability and resilience demands of the modern American grid.
A key focus of PPC’s presence at this year’s event will be its engineering expertise in seismic performance, supporting utilities and grid developers operating in regions exposed to seismic activity.
PPC engineers will be available throughout the exhibition to discuss how optimized insulator design can contribute to improved resilience during seismic events.
In addition to seismic engineering capabilities, PPC will highlight the benefits of its isostatic pressing technology, which enables much shorter lead times than conventional plastic process, while also allowing for more advanced insulator design and finer shed thickness.
The booth will also feature a dedicated “Ask the Engineer” zone, providing visitors with direct access to PPC technical specialists for in-depth discussions on insulator selection, design considerations, and performance optimization.
PPC Insulators looks forward to welcoming utilities, OEMs, EPCs, partners, and industry professionals at Booth 141 to exchange insights and explore solutions that support the next generation of resilient power transmission and distribution across North America.
